Approach

Measure first. Change only what the numbers support.

A repeatable method, backed by our own scanning tools, so every client gets the same careful work.

  1. Step 1

    Assess

Our scanner reads Power BI report and model definitions, usage logs and Snowflake query history. We see what exists, who uses it and what it costs.

  2. Step 2

    Design

We group similar reports and measures and propose a smaller target: shared models, a few strong reports, and plain-language questions for the rest.

  3. Step 3

    Rebuild

One business area at a time. Automated tests compare old and new numbers. Owners sign off before anything is archived.

  4. Step 4

    Keep clean

We hand over the scorecard and checks, and can re-run them each quarter.

Principles

How we work

Measure, don't guess

Every recommendation points to usage, cost or test data you can see.

Retire carefully

We archive instead of delete, and only after the owner agrees.

One definition per metric

The same rule for revenue or margin everywhere, in Power BI and Snowflake.

Senior people do the work

The people you meet are the people who build it.

Fixed scopes

Clear price and clear finish line for each phase.

You can run it after

Documentation, tests and training are part of every handover.

Data handling

Careful with your access

We sign your NDA and data terms before we start.

  • Metadata first; business data only when needed
  • Read-only access with the fewest rights that work
  • Work stays inside your environment where possible
  • Access removed at the end of each engagement

How much is your reporting environment really costing you?

In four weeks we measure your reports, models, refreshes and platform spend, and show where cost and complexity can come out. Fixed price, agreed up front.
